XS Typing Ltd – Audio Transcription Services
Although recordings from newer digital recording devices makes up the bulk of work we do, we are able to transcribe recordings from older analogue devices. Audio typing from the old micro or mini cassettes is just as straightforward. Just post your tapes to us and one of our experienced transcribers will play them through and type them up into whatever document format you require.
Mini cassettes were typically used in handheld Dictaphones in offices, so tend to be more common. They are usually 15 or 30 minutes recording capacity on either side. Micro cassettes have 30 minutes capacity either side. They were mainly used in Olympus recording devices and tend to be less common.
Remember to send your audio tapes to us via recorded delivery to avoid them getting lost in the post. The tapes can be returned to you once the transcription is completed.
