Digital Dictation

Traditional tape based Dictaphones have been replaced with a wide range of digital recording devices. You don’t even need a digital Dictaphone anymore as most smart phones now have recording functions which allows audio files to be recorded and uploaded straight from the device. This makes outsourcing transcription and getting your audio recordings typed up by XS Typing Ltd extremely simple.

Dial-in Telephone Dictation

If you don’t have access to a digital recording device, we have a dedicated dial-in telephone dictation line. Simply call 08432 898 338, read out the work you need transcribing and we’ll do the rest.

Audio Typing

Whilst the majority of our work comes from newer digital recordings, we are able to offer audio typing services for older recordings on micro or mini tapes.

Copy Typing

Transcribing handwritten documents into Microsoft Word can be time consuming. Whether you need to digitalise old archives, written correspondence, manuscripts or reports, all you need to do us fax the documents to us on 08435 240 179, or scan and email them to office@xstyping.com, and our expert typists will transcribe them into the format you require.

Bespoke Typing Requirements

If you have written a book and would like it typing up or just need a couple of letters transcribing, we can help. Alongside our standard services, we work with businesses with specialist requirements to build a bespoke package to fit.
