XS Typing Ltd – Terms and Conditions
By accepting the services or work agreed upon, you, the customer assumes full responsibility for the accuracy and proofreading of the final documents. Any omissions or errors brought to our attention less than 48 hours of receipt will be amended by us free of charge. Any other amendments or additions made by the customer will incur a charge. XS Typing Ltd cannot be held liable for any damage to media supplied to us whilst in transit or in our possession.
Postage fees and additional expenses
The client will be invoiced at cost price for any additional expenses incurred such as stationary, telephone calls, disks, postage (with the exclusion of completed work) etc.
Transcription turnaround time and delivery
Work returned to you by post will be via recorded delivery with no costs incurred by you. XS Typing Ltd reserves the right to alter prices quoted and turnaround times due to changes in legibility and/or quality of source material, delivery arrangements, specifications, unforeseen or other circumstances.
Liability
Though we make every effort to ensure that our transcriptions are as accurate as possible, XS Typing Ltd assumes no liability for inaccuracies and errors in our transcripts. We will not be held liable or responsible for any damages, misquote, or other problems, financial or otherwise, that occur as a result of inaccuracy or inaccuracies with a transcript. It is the responsibility of you, the client, to ensure all transcripts are accurate.
Cancellations
No refunds will be given after commencement of work, except at the discretion of XS Typing Ltd.
Confidentiality Agreements
We treat all the files, data, and information supplied to us as strictly confidential. Our discretion and confidentiality is guaranteed but we will be happy to sign a Privacy policy, non-disclosure agreement or confidentiality agreement supplied by the client if required. Standard confidentiality agreements can be supplied on request if required.
All emails we receive and their attachments or other media will be virus scanned etc. We will not open any unsolicited attachments or attachments without an accompanying explanatory message. However, it is the responsibility of clients to check attachments, graphics and text before opening the file – no responsibility or liability will be accepted by XS Typing Ltd.
