Digital Dictation
Digital dictation involves us typing up your transcripts from digital audio files into Microsoft Word, Excel or any other format you require. Once transcribed, we can layout the documents however you like, even drop them into one of your corporate document templates if required.
All you need to do is upload your audio file via our secure online transfer system and tell us how quickly you need the transcribed documents back. We accept most digital audio files including mp3, wav, dvf, msv and dss. In addition to the online upload facility, we can also accept files via FTP or posted DVD, CD or memory stick. Please ensure to send these via recorded delivery to ensure they don’t get lost in the post. These will be returned to you once the transcription has been completed.
Our standard transcription turnaround time is 48 hours, charged at £1.00 per audio minute, though we can turn your work around quicker if you require. See our pricing page for further details, or fill out the form on the right for a quick quote.
It typically takes our transcribers 4 minutes to type up every 1 minute of your audio file, so for example it would take around 1 hour to accurately transcribe a 15 minutes recording.
As soon as the transcription is complete, the typed up document can be emailed back to you or downloaded from our secure online portal. We can even print out copies of the transcribed document and post them to you if required.
